KVISH / כביש was written for Meitar Ensemble’s 2023 street concert, set in Kiryat HaMel’acha industrial zone of south Tel Aviv, next to Har Tzion St. – a well known site of sex work and of transgender sex work specifically. in addition to the performers, KVISH is also dedicated to the trans community, to trans sex workers and to every trans person going through gender affirming care.
